About Us
How we got started:
We Welcome you to Christ Is Lord Ministries (CILM). This ministry started as a home fellowship in 1983 in Michigan where Rev. Salome Pathak was called by God to spread the Good News and to serve the people in her local and global communities. Later she and her family moved to Frederick Maryland where the home fellowship continued and grew. In addition, the Pathak family made monthly visits to Columbus Ohio from Frederick Maryland to hold services for families in Columbus. Worship Services as well as Baptismal service were held in the elementary school and hotel convention hall. Through this journey we saw that there are broken hearts everywhere that are in need of healing through Christ and that has inspired us to continue to pursue the Columbus Mission work.

Our Mission:
Our mission is to fulfill the great commission through holistically serving individuals and communities through Education, Medical Missions, and by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ

In the 1980s CILM started a mission in Jamaica, West Indies. In the early beginning of the mission, church services and Sunday school were held under an Ackee tree until a church building was raised up for worship and baptism. In 1998 the building was officially opened for church service. The building is now remodeled to serve as a community clinic and quarters for visiting medical personnel and missionaries.
In 2011 CILM rescued a house in Columbus from depilated condition and renovated it. The renovation brought relief and joy to the community. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Bible studies are conducted in this house.
Rev. Salome Pathak holds a Master of Diviniy degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus Ohio. She has worked as a missionary Pastor in Jamaica, West Indies and the United States.
